nunchuck training session

Nunchucks are one of the most commonly used weapon by a martial artist.They are also called as "chainsticks"in simple language.
Nunchuck is a weapon made of two sticks connected with the help of a chain,it is a traditional weapon from Okinawa JAPAN.
There are many different styles or techniques to use this weapon,however most of the people prefer Japanese style of using this weapon.
Talking about my experience,when I first started using "NUNCHUCK"
it was a very new experience for me.
I joined for a 3 day weapon training workshop specially to learn the different techniques to use this weapon.
On the very first day of workshop,I hit myself with the weapon right on my head as I was not familiar with using nunchucks, but later on the Grandmaster corrected my mistakes and taught me the right way to handle this weapon.

 Learning the techniques of this weapon was very helpful to me as it has provided me with many opportunities to participate and win in many district as well as state competitions.
surely this is one of the best training session i have ever attended.thanks to my mentor sir.Sandesh for giving me this chance.

stick training workshop

Fighting with sticks might seem like an  ancient form of fighting technique  but it actually has a lot of importance in modern times also.It is very useful in defending yourself from opponents and other kind of weapons. Stick fighting by individuals or in a group is the cultural heritage of many countries especially south african tribes. Normally simple Bo staffs are used by trainers and learners.traditionally Bo sticks were made with woods.nowadays different types of Bo staffs are available in the market for different situations such as for beginners,trainers,for sparring,etc. Starting with my practice to performing in a competition,I have used different kinds of sticks which are still in my set. I am very thankful to my sir and the trainers who taught me to use this weapon, because of them I was able to win medals and also learnt many new techniques.

Sparring is a form of training common to many combat sports. Although the precise form varies, it is essentially relatively 'free-form' fighting, with enough rules, customs, or agreements to minimize injuries. sparring is a term used to replace the term fighting,during sparring a set of rules are formed according to the level of fight and the grade of opponents.   rules can be changed according to the fighters and grades.For fighters of smaller age group,safety equipments are compulsory to be carried during the fight,such as head gears,gloves,knee guard,shin guard,etc. any competitor who enter without safety guards and complete uniform,are disqualified from  competition.   A opponent who unfollows any of the rules is disqualified directly from the competition.
